SWEET

Our Prairie Skirt is featured in Sweet Harvey's blog. Which we think is just plain sweet. Check it out at sweetharvey.blogspot .com

We are delighted with all of the attention our Prairie Skirt has been getting this month. We featured it in an ad space in the August/September issue of BUST Magazine that is on newsstands now. (page 19 if you are looking) Then we squeeled with joy when it made it to the front page of Etsy on August 11!

I guess we should not be surprised that this skirt has been our best selling item at Urban Sapling. Keep your eye on our shop for new fall skirts that are just as fabulous in the coming weeks!

Urban Sapling is Launching Woman's Items

I have loved making children's clothing for so long. But, for a while now I have really wanted to create a woman's line. So I decided to just do it. My good friend and creative partner Tracy has been the source of so much inspiration and feedback. We are calling our woman's line Urban Sapling, and there is no way it would have become a reality without her on board.

Hand stenciled T shirts are going to be a staple at Urban Sapling. Here is our accordion T-shirt, just listed today.
You can find more at our online shop at www.urbansapling.etsy.com

I want to make more of these sweet bunnies.

I call them 'moody little buddies' and each one is scented with a natural herbal aroma. This chamomile bunny is so calm and peaceful he didn't even get excited when he made it to Etsy's front page. Although, I was very excited for him.

This little aromatherapy bunny sold. But I would love to make more of them and list them in my shop. What better way to deliver a little bit of calming aromatherapy than this delightful little wool bunny?

They stand about 7 inches tall. I plan to make a lavender scented bear, and a tangerine scented kitty, too. I already have a minty birdie listed in my shop.

I used chamomile flowers and essential oils to imbue this Moody Little Buddy with the refreshing scent of chamomile. Chamomile has a mild calming aroma that reduces stress and tension. Chamomile is traditionally considered to be generally uplifting and also promotes restful sleep.

Ahhh, I love you moody little buddy.
